Flexible Benefits: Make them work for you

Zurich’s Flexible Benefits scheme offers optional benefits, allowing you to tailor personal packages around your lifestyle. The scheme allows you to opt into spending some of your salary on a menu of benefits that offer significant discounts because of the group’s buying power.

It works like this: a flexible benefit (sometimes called a salary sacrifice benefit) is provided by the employer in return for a reduction in your gross salary. Some benefits mean you save on tax and national insurance, while others are taxed but provide NI savings. Other benefits are subject to both tax and NI but Zurich’s purchasing power means you still benefit from significant discounts.

There’s a trial period each year that allows you to see the effect that choosing a particular benefit will have on your pay, so you can try different combinations to see what makes the best benefits for you.

Endsleigh Colleague Benefits

A range of colleague benefits are available immediately when you join and more after a qualifying period:

Endsleigh has a market leading defined contribution pension scheme, where we will pay 4% of your pensionable salary, increasing to 8% at five years service and again to 12% in year 10, into your own personal retirement Ecashbuilder account. To encourage you to save, we'll start you off automatically on a salary sacrifice of 5% but the choice is yours if you want to save more or less then you can amend this.

Life Assurance
After 2 years’ continuous service, you’ll be included in our Life Assurance scheme which provides twice your annual salary, rising to 4 times your annual salary after 5 years’ service.

Holiday Allowance
Across most roles you’ll start with 22 days’ holiday in addition to Bank and National holidays, increasing to 25 days‘ after 2 years. And for more senior roles you will start with 25 days holiday.

Endsleigh Friends & Family
This scheme offers significant discounts to a colleague plus up to 10 friends and family. Because we believe that by making them ambassadors for what we do creates advocates who can confidently share the ethos that insurance should be about more than just price.
