Our customers are central to everything we do, ensuring we provide a customer experience that builds strong, lifelong relationships. We have long established relationships with the student communities going back to 1965. However we now have a diverse customer base that is ever changing for which we have developed a range of products and solutions to meet their needs.
We constantly review and aim to improve our customers’ experience wherever and whenever we engage with them. So our large marketing and business development community work hard to reach our customers through multiple channels. Their priorities are:
1. To grow our customer base and sustainable profitability
2. Develop 3rd party partnerships to increase access to potential customers
3. To grow and diversify enquiries
The marketing function sits within our Specialist MFU. Whilst they support colleagues across the business, the majority of our marketing activity promotes niche products and services that operate from within this MFU.
With an annual cycle focusing on marketing to the Student population, the Freshers period is at the heart of our marketing calendar.
As part of our continuous journey, we see Business Development as an essential part of broadening our knowledge and expertise within the Student and Professional insurance markets.
We have a number of teams across the business who focus on maintaining key strategic relationships with external parties as well as developing new relationships and initiatives that can add to our diverse proposition and provide sustainable income to Endsleigh.
