I was a full-time mum before I joined here, and a chef before that. I joined Endsleigh because my children are at school and I wanted to work and do something new. Endsleigh are local and easy to get to. I saw the advert and the next thing I knew I was on a training course! Every day is different as you are talking to the general public. We have a meeting first thing and then get on the phones and deal with the administration. There is ongoing training, and we have targets to meet. But it’s a very friendly place, and the senior managers are excellent. My daughter was ill recently, and they were really flexible and helpful. The best bit about my job is when someone says ‘thank you’. Recently, when a customer wasn’t happy, he was passed to me. At the end he said ‘thank you, you have put my faith back in Endsleigh’, which was lovely. I’d recommend it here because they really look after you and are keen to promote and support you. They give you a good grounding of training. I knew nothing about insurance, but they have a good system to get you through the training.
